Today was inspection day for the home we've been looking at. Basically our worst fears were confirmed. While the "bones" of the house are good, it is going to need alot of work. New roof, two new AC units (both units are bad), large tree in front is dead and needs to come out - plus it lifted the sidewalk up; new flooring, paint, water damage from leaky roof, and that just scratches the surface.
I think at this point we've decided to keep looking and wait to see if this house comes back on the market once it's foreclosed on. Right now it's a short sale and getting the seller to do anything is impossible. So, back to house hunting...
